A life of dance
Melody began her journey in Classical Ballet at the age of five and trained through her teenage years before placing her dance aspirations on hold to focus on her studies. Driven by her enduring passion for ballet, she rekindled her love for the art form after a hiatus of more than 15 years, pursuing vocational ballet training and successfully completing the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance.

A firm believer in lifelong learning, Melody advocates that ballet is for everyone — regardless of age — as long as there is passion in the heart to dance. Inspired to share her love for ballet with others, she made the bold decision to leave her senior management role at one of the Big Four accounting firms to fully dedicate herself to teaching students from toddlers to adults.
Today, Melody is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and a certified instructor in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). Committed to continuous growth, she regularly attends ballet classes and professional development courses organised by RAD to refine her skills and stay current in her practice.

As a mother, Melody brings patience, empathy, and valuable experience in working with young children and teenagers. She strives to be a positive role model for the younger generation, inspiring her students to discover the joy of ballet. To her, ballet is more than technique and steps — it is a discipline that nurtures resilience, grace, confidence, and life skills that extend far beyond the studio.
